Fostering
Becoming a foster is a great way to involve the whole family in volunteer work, on your schedule. Fostering an animal for ACA means you are saving 2 lives. - the animal you are fostering and the animal who is now occupying the cage that was emptied at Animal Control.
ACA provides all veterinary care for the animal through local clinics with whom we partner. Foster homes provide their own food and litter, and are expected to transport their foster animals to vet appointments and adoption events. Of course, we realize work and life can get in the way and simply ask to be made aware of conflicts so we can help arrange transportation.
