Christmas Angels are coming!!!
Every year we do this program to help animals that need a little extra help finding their new homes. We often end up with several senior animals and ones that don't do well at loud and noisy adoption events that have been in our care for a long time by this time of year, this program helps give them an extra push towards a new home.
Donations to this program help us to us to cover the vetting fees for these animals. We then choose to place them in loving homes that can properly care for them, but find the adoption fees this time of year a hardship.
If you would like to contribute to this program checks can be sent to ACA PO Box 4336 Evansville. 47724
Paypal donations can be sent to email@example.com
1,236 Adoptions in 2015! That is 1,236 animals lives saved. Thank YOU, all our fosters, fans, and friends who made 2015 a year to remember!
Head over to our facebook page for a video with some great memories of the past year!
Last weekend, Oct 10th, 6 volunteers drove two vans, a couple SUVS, and 32 dogs to Indianapolis for their bi-annual Indy Mega Adoption Event. In less than 6 hours 31 dogs were adopted into new forever homes. A HUGE Thank you to the volunteers that put this together, and the fosters who made it happen!
Five years ago, sitting in the kitchen of my house, a toddler playing with foster cats beside me, a decision was made to start a rescue dedicated exclusively to the animals from Evansville Animal Control. I had no idea that what I had in mind, a small, foster driven rescue, would, today, have adopted out over 4,400 animals, boast over 50 dedicated foster homes, loads of volunteers, and would have helped change the landscape of animal ownership in our city. This would never have happened without EXTREMELY dedicated board members and volunteers, who have given up parts of their lives throughout the years to make this dream come true. Thank you, to all our fosters, volunteers, adopters, and fans, for saving so many lives these past 5 years. ---Audrey
